Maruti SuzukThe i has big plans for the coming years. The carmaker has confirmed seven new SUVs, including the 2026 Maruti Brezza Baleno Fronx Facelift for the Indian market, which will arrive over the next five to six years.
Along with this, Maruti also plans to launch three new electric vehicles by 2031, showing that the brand is serious about going electric. To cover all types of buyers, Maruti Suzuki will offer its upcoming models with multiple powertrain options, including petrol, strong hybrid, electric, CNG, biogas, and even flex-fuel technology.
In the shorter term, Maruti is getting ready to launch the 2026 Maruti Brezza Baleno Fronx Facelift — three of its most popular models — expected to arrive sometime in 2026 or 2027. All three cars have already been spotted testing on Indian roads multiple times, giving us a good idea of what to expect.
2026 Maruti Brezza Facelift
The 2026 Maruti Brezza Baleno Fronx Facelift lineup kicks off with the Brezza, which is one of the most-awaited upcoming cars from Maruti Suzuki. The Brezza facelift is expected to launch around the festive season of 2026. Based on spy shots, the new Brezza will get minor design updates on the outside, along with an underbody CNG tank, making it more practical for CNG users.
On the inside, buyers can expect a bigger 10.1-inch touchscreen, fresh upholstery, and new cabin trims. One exciting update is that the Brezza facelift may come with the same 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine from the Fronx, producing 100bhp, and paired with a new 6-speed manual gearbox.
2026 Maruti Baleno Facelift
Next in the 2026 Maruti Brezza Baleno Fronx Facelift lineup is the Baleno, which is also in the pipeline, though an official launch date has not been announced yet. The Baleno facelift is likely to bring a refreshed front look with a new grille design, a thin chrome strip joining the headlamps, and a slightly updated fog lamp position. The cabin may also get a new colour theme and improved material quality overall. However, the Baleno facelift is not expected to bring any changes under the hood, meaning the engine and mechanical setup will stay the same as the current model.
2026 Maruti Fronx Facelift
Rounding off the 2026 Maruti Brezza, Baleno, and Fronx Facelift update is the Fronx, which is expected to be the most feature-packed of the three. While the exterior changes will be minimal, the Fronx facelift will likely gain a full ADAS safety suite, a sunroof, and ventilated seats, all reserved for the top variants.
The most talked-about update is the Fronx hybrid facelift powertrain — Maruti Suzuki’s own strong hybrid system, which could debut in the Fronx by 2027. Alongside the Fronx hybrid option, the existing 1.0-litre turbo petrol and 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engines will continue to be offered, giving buyers multiple powertrain choices.
Expectations
Indian car buyers are genuinely excited about the 2026 Maruti Brezza Baleno Fronx Facelift. Maruti Suzuki has always had a loyal customer base in India, and any update to these popular models creates a lot of buzz.
The Brezza facelift’s possible turbo engine, the Baleno’s refreshed look, and especially the Fronx hybrid powertrain are giving buyers plenty of reasons to wait before making a purchase. Many existing owners are also eagerly watching for the updates before deciding on an upgrade. Overall, the 2026 Maruti Brezza Baleno Fronx Facelift has created strong anticipation across both first-time buyers and loyal Maruti customers alike.
