Honda Cars India is pulling the covers off the 2026 Honda City facelift today, and if you have been following the spy shots, you already know this update looks promising.

The biggest talking point is the new front end — a connected LED lightbar acting as DRLs, smoked projector LED headlamps, and a reshaped bumper that brings the City in line with Honda’s current design language. There is also a camera spotted below the Honda badge, hinting at possible 360-degree camera or ADAS features coming to the sedan for the first time.
The sides and rear get subtle updates — new diamond-cut alloys, revised taillamps, and a refreshed bumper finish. Inside, expect a larger infotainment screen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, while safety kit including 6 airbags, ESP, TPMS, and blind spot monitoring carries over.

The 2026 Honda City will continue to be offered with the same set of engine options, i.e. a NA petrol and a petrol-hybrid choice.
| Engine | 1.5 litre Naturally aspirated Petrol | 1.5 litre Naturally aspirated petrol-hybrid |
| Power | 121 PS | 98 PS |
| Torque | 145 Nm | 127 Nm |
| Transmission | 6-speed MT / 7-step CVT | e-CVT |
The 1.5-litre petrol and the popular strong hybrid e-CVT option both continue. Pricing is expected to see a modest hike of ₹20,000 to ₹50,000 over the current range of ₹12.00 lakh to ₹16.07 lakh (ex-showroom).
We will be back with the full review, variant-wise breakdown, and on-road price details very soon.
